When we meet other organizations that get bodybuilding like we get bodybuilding, we want to acknowledge them.

The IFBB

It’s been around since 1946, making it the granddaddy of all today’s bodybuilding organizations. It helped make Arnold Schwarzenegger the king, it runs the biggest show – the Olympia – and it’s even been trying to get bodybuilding into the Olympics. If you’re going to support anyone, you’ve got to support the IFBB. It helped make bodybuilding what it is today.

The Olympia

If you ask any bodybuilder about “the show,” you know he’ll be talking about the Olympia. It’s where the biggest names, and biggest bods, have ruled as king. Arnold, Coleman, Haney and Yates, to name a few, have stepped onstage and redefined what it means to be a bodybuilder.

The Arnold Classic

Sure, they might have added other events to the Arnold Sports Festival, and those cheerleaders sure are cute, but it’s all about the Classic. When the icon of all bodybuilding decides to show the world what bodybuilding is all about, you’ve got to pay attention.

CBBF

The Canadian Bodybuilding Federation is Canada’s only federally recognized governing body for amateur bodybuilding, fitness and body fitness (figure) competition. This is the only Canadian organization that qualifies competitors for competition at the three annual IFBB World Championships, and the only one that awards competitors an IFBB pro card.

The National Physique Committee

The National Physique Committee is the premier amateur physique organization in the world. Since 1982, the top athletes in bodybuilding, fitness, figure, bikini and physique have started their careers in the NPC. Many of those athletes graduated to successful careers in the IFBB Professional League

UFE

Ultimate Fitness Events is one of Canada’s leading drug-tested fitness organizations and one of the fastest growing fitness organizations in North America. It hosts bodybuilding, figure, fitness, fitness model and bikini model categories and is also the exclusive fitness organization for the Inside Fitness Magazine Model Search.

MuscleMag International

Do we even need to say anything? Think of it as the New York Times for bodybuilders. MuscleMag International has been a constant source of information, entertainment and inspiration for thousands of hardcore bodybuilders. We’ve all learned a huge amount just flipping through the pages of MM, and that isn’t ever going to change.

Inside Fitness Magazine

It’s Canada’s biggest bodybuilding and fitness magazine, which is saying a lot, considering how dedicated Canucks are to bodybuilding. You never know what it’s going to take to get inspired and pump up your training, but it’s surprising how often you’ll find it in the pages of IFM.
